In World of Warcraft, significant changes are coming once again. Three classes are receiving strong buffs that are impressive.
Even though the first season of World of Warcraft Dragonflight has been running for almost 3 months, Blizzard is still not completely satisfied with the balance. Therefore, there are continual buffs and nerfs for some classes and specializations to make them more competitive in certain situations. Once again, changes are scheduled for this Wednesday (01.03.2023). This time, three classes will receive buffs that they can all be happy about.
Which classes are affected? Death Knights of the Blood specialization are receiving Blizzard’s “all-around carefree” package, as their damage is simply increased slightly in all areas. Paladins can also look forward to a bit more healing and damage. However, the real winners are Shamans, who are getting quite drastic buffs in PvE. In one case, there is even a 80% increase in damage, while other abilities are only increased by 6%.

Death Knight
- Blood
- The damage of all abilities is increased by 3%.
Paladin
- Holy
- The healing of Light of Dawn is increased by 10%.
- Protection
- The damage bonus of Greater Judgment on the affected target is increased to 40% (previously 20%).
- Hammer of Wrath deals 30% more damage.
- Hammer of the Righteous deals 20% more damage.
Shaman
- Elemental
- The damage of Lightning Bolt is increased by 10%. Does not apply in PvP.
- The damage of Lava Burst is increased by 6%. Does not apply in PvP.
- Earth Shock deals 6% more damage. Does not apply in PvP.
- Elemental Blast deals 6% more damage. Does not apply in PvP.
- Ice Fury deals 80% more damage.
- Ice Fury now grants Frost Shock an additional 14 Maelstrom (previously 8 Maelstrom).
- The damage of Frost Shock is increased by 15%.
When do the changes go live? The improvements will go live on March 01, with maintenance occurring in the early morning hours. So from today, you can benefit from the buffs and show the whole world how powerful Elemental Shamans and Tank Paladins are now – if you haven’t done so already.
