Herbology and Mining fans in World of Warcraft will soon be getting even more gold. A great change will soon provide a rare and valuable resource.
With Dragonflight, Blizzard introduced an extensive specialization system for all professions. However, not every specialization feels good for every profession. Specifically, miners and herbalists have a specialization that causes many to scratch their heads in confusion. Portals for going back and forth are great in theory, but they actually offer very little.
What is the problem? It concerns the specialization “Titan-Touched,” which can be found in both Herbalism and Mining under “Mastery of the Elements.” Currently, fully skilled in this specialization causes a portal to appear when overloading a titan-touched plant or titan-touched ore, which leads to the next ore or plant and can then also be used for the return trip.
However, this is neither very interesting nor useful. Because those who are farming herbs or ores want to move on to the next spot after gathering resources and not be teleported back. The ability was therefore quite useless and very disappointing for a finishing talent of a specialization.
What will change? With Patch 10.0.7, the final talent of this specialization will be altered. When you overload a titan-touched resource node, there will now be a chance to receive a Glowing Titan Sphere! This is a relatively rare resource that has previously only been reliably obtained from some elite enemies. The sphere is needed for some of the best enchantments and a few jeweler recipes and is therefore highly sought after.
What does this mean for the glowing Titan Spheres? So far, glowing Titan Spheres are among the most expensive reagents for enchantments and a few other recipes. While the price at the start of the expansion was still in the mid four-digit range, it has now dropped to around 600 to 700 gold. With Patch 10.0.7, the price is likely to drop even further due to the change. So, anyone wanting to turn their Titan Spheres into gold should do so soon – as the market could soon be flooded with them.
