The new PvP area in WoW is convincing in every respect. The Seething Shore is the perfect farming spot to collect Honor.
Since last Wednesday, there has been a new battleground in World of Warcraft, the Seething Shore. Currently, the shore is only available as a “Brawl” – but those who have the opportunity should definitely sign up for it! Because the Seething Shore brings a lot of Honor and even more fun, as it works completely differently than all other battlegrounds in WoW.
Endless Honor
For those who found the Honor rewards too much effort, they should consider changing their mind. Because on the Seething Shore, Honor rains down. Players often leave the battleground with 1000 Honor if they win a match – even more if their faction is currently outnumbered and thus receives an Honor bonus. And this during a match duration of 10-12 minutes. Capturing Azerite takes only a few seconds, and each chunk grants around 40 Honor for the entire team. After 15 Azerite captures, the match is already over – a fast, effective Honor farming spot.
Fast target switching without breaks
Unlike other battlegrounds in WoW, there is constant action on the Seething Shore. Since the control points to be captured switch every few seconds, players must think quickly and shift the battle. Those who want to “just have a quick duel” will arrive late at the next Azerite spawn and lose important points for their team. Thanks to the ever-changing objectives, there is constant action. There are simply no boring “I’ll defend the courtyard now” phases or “Let’s protect the flag carrier in this corner for 5 minutes” moments.
But the Seething Shore has even more cool ideas that are a lot of fun. This allows players to enter the fray not at a fixed spawn point but virtually anywhere on the battlefield! This is possible because after death, you spawn on the airship hovering above the battleground. From there, the character can jump off and position themselves more accurately with two rocket boosts. It literally rains players, and long trips to the skirmish are completely eliminated.
Cortyn says: It’s been a long time since PvP in World of Warcraft has been this much fun for me as on the Seething Shore. The matches are quick, there are no endlessly long “zergs” over specific points, and those who are not on the ball are a handicap for their team. If a match is ever unbalanced, it’s not a big deal – after 10 minutes, a match is usually over anyway.
I do believe that the Honor gain on the shore is still a bit too high and Blizzard will correct it downwards, as no other battleground can compete otherwise. As long as it grants so much Honor, I give the clear recommendation: To the Seething Shore! A lot of Honor awaits.
How do you like the Seething Shore in WoW? Are you having fun in the new battleground, or is it too hectic for you?
Don’t feel like PvP? Then just do a “Mythic+22” dungeon solo, just like Mionee.
