World of Warcraft is revving up the leveling turbo again. But it’s not just for Twink fans, reputation collectors will be happy too.
Leveling in World of Warcraft is one of two things. Either it’s the most important aspect of the game, meant to last as long as possible – or it’s simply the annoying path to the endgame that you’d rather quickly get through. If you belong to the second group, you can look forward to the return of the “Winds of Mysterious Fortune” – because in just a few days, the well-known leveling event will start again.
What kind of event is this? The “Winds of Mysterious Fortune” basically increase your XP gain by 20% – so you level up faster right from the start. But that’s just a fraction of the bonuses available. While you complete quests and defeat enemies in Dragonflight or The War Within, you will regularly receive various bags. These contain a variety of different rewards, such as:
- Potions that grant an additional 10% experience
- Buff effects, such as elemental attacks, increased movement speed, or HP regeneration
- Gear that is adjusted to your current level
- Bags
Earn Goblin Reputation in a Flash
Especially attractive for reputation fans: This time, the reputation gain for all factions from The War Within is included – including the 5 cartels of Lorenhall, namely Bilgewasser Cartel, Blackwater Company, Steamwheedle Cartel, Venture Company, and even the secret faction of Twisted Solutions. If you still need reputation here, now is the time.
For the factions of The War Within, you will receive 100% more reputation, and for the factions of Dragonflight, 200% more reputation.
How long is this active? The Winds of Mysterious Fortune are active from July 15 to August 12, so for exactly 4 weeks. That’s enough time to level up a few characters before the release of Patch 11.2 – or for newcomers, the perfect moment to start and prepare for the latest content.
The fact that Blizzard is starting this event again just a few weeks after the last one could also be a sort of “emergency solution,” as newcomers are currently having an extremely hard time without this event. If you’re playing on a fresh account, you can’t defeat quest mobs at some point – but thanks to the event, there’s still good gear that helps with that.
