New class sets and associated weapons will soon be available in World of Warcraft. However, you need to save up for it now, otherwise it will be tight.
The trading post in World of Warcraft has become a quite popular feature since its introduction. Every month, there are new transmogs and other items that are just “nice to have,” but do not provide any actual advantage – they are almost always cosmetic rewards.
However, for the next few months, Blizzard has announced some very special rewards: new sets for all classes and really impressive weapons!
What are these sets? The sets consist of a helmet, shoulders, and a belt that thematically match the respective class and can be nicely complemented with already existing transmog items.
For the weapons, Blizzard has ensured that there is one weapon for each specialization of the corresponding class.
All class sets in the trading post 2023
Blizzard will not release the sets and their associated weapons all at once, but staggered over the course of 4 months, starting from September. Check when your favorite set appears and plan your monthly trading post currencies to ensure you don’t miss any coveted item.
Paladin, Priest, and Rogue
Available: September 2023
Death Knight, Demon Hunter, and Druid
Available: October 2023
Warlock, Monk, and Warrior
Available: November 2023
Evoker, Hunter, Mage, and Shaman
Available: December 2023
How to get the sets? You will be able to purchase the sets and weapons at the trading post for trading currencies. Each month, you can earn some by completing various tasks. The trading currencies do not expire, so you can save them up over several months – and you should do that if you want multiple of these sets.
Keep in mind that each month you can also “freeze” an item and hold it back if you can’t afford it that month.
What do the sets cost? Each of the class sets costs 450 trading currencies. The corresponding weapon sets cost another 500 currencies. So if you want a complete set with a weapon, you have to pay 950 trading currencies – basically all the earnings from one month.
What do you think of these sets and the associated weapons? Cool, interesting innovations? Or can you not relate to them at all?
