In World of Warcraft, there are occasionally things that are so strange that you almost automatically imagine what a fitting introduction by Jonathan Frakes on X-Factor: The Unbelievable would sound like.
What happened? On Reddit, WoW player EndTheEnd reports that he visited the dungeon Grim Batol and successfully defeated the local final boss Erudax. As soon as he collected the last loot, he moved on to Azj-Kahet. So far, so normal. Three minutes later, his character unexpectedly stood in front of the spirit healer.
Out of nowhere, he was hit by five Void Siphon hits – for a total of 3.8 million damage. Void Siphon is an ability of Erudax that causes void tentacles to erupt from the ground and inflict shadow damage every 0.5 seconds.
But how can that be? After all, the boss had been defeated for several minutes and EndTheEnd was miles away from the dungeon.
