It seems like there’s a spark between these two fairy races in WoW. Will there soon be a honeymoon in Suramar with Thalyssra and Lor’Themar?
In World of Warcraft, while primarily about war and the conflicts between individual characters or even entire factions, moments of romance also shine through. It seems that such a story is developing in Patch 8.3, at least if the data mined statements are interpreted correctly.
It revolves around Lor’themar Theron, the current leader of the Blood Elves, and the First Arcanist Thalyssra, the current representative of the Nightborne.
What is being said? From the game data of Patch 8.3, a dialogue between Thalyssra and Lor’themar has already been extracted. This little conversation takes place between the two:
Lor’themar: Thank you again for leading our forces alongside me in Nazjatar, Thalyssra. Your insights and bravery were key to our victory.
First Arcanist: It was my honor, Lor’themar. I am relieved that the war is finally over. Now you have no excuse to decline my invitation for a visit to Suramar.
Lor’themar: Well, uh … I have been away from Silvermoon for quite a while. Undoubtedly my people need me –
First Arcanist: Halduron assured me that Quel’Thalas is safe. And Rommath said that if you put on a show, he will personally teleport you to the Night Hold.
Lor’themar: It seems my most loyal allies are conspiring against me!
First Arcanist: Does it really take a conspiracy for you to spend time with me alone?
Lor’themar: No, my lady. It would be my pleasure.
First Arcanist: An appropriately gallant answer, Regent Lord. Perhaps there is still hope for you! Maybe I can even teach you … to enjoy the simpler pleasures of life.
Lor’Themar: Perhaps you can, First Arcanist. Perhaps you can.
First Arcanist: I will accept, if you stand by my side as an advisor … and friend.
It is definitely interesting that Thalyssra apparently sought the help of Halduron and Rommath (the two advisors of Lor’themar) to make her invitation. The fact that the two advisors are giving the Regent Lord a little nudge towards companionship with the Nightborne is an intriguing detail.
