Returnees can play World of Warcraft for free – at least for a few days. We reveal who will benefit from this offer.
In World of Warcraft, the time of the Shadowlands expansion is coming soon. Some players may feel the urge to pay for a month again to dive into Azeroth and explore the Pre-Patch 9.0. After all, there are many new character customizations and an improved leveling experience. Blizzard is making it particularly easy for you now. Because for 4 days, you can play WoW completely for free up to the current expansion.
What is this offer? Since yesterday evening (November 5th), World of Warcraft is free for all returnees. If you already have an account, you can play until November 9th at exactly midnight without spending a cent. You can simply log into World of Warcraft and experience the improvements and new features of Patch 9.0.
What can be played? Basically, all content can be played. This starts at the Isle of Exile and goes up to the last adventures in Battle for Azeroth, including obtaining the legendary cloak.
And then? Anyone who wants to continue playing afterwards must subscribe. This could be worthwhile, as just a few days later the pre-event for Shadowlands begins. The Scourge is coming once again to Azeroth – which brings not only dangers but also solid equipment to perfectly prepare for Shadowlands.
Who is this worth it for? Basically, this is a good offer for all players who lost interest during the Battle for Azeroth expansion. Many of the “annoying” systems are now inactive, and a large part of the game world has been revised. But also all other players who have left WoW over the past decade can fire up the download and dive back into Azeroth. Perhaps one might find a bit of joy in the game world again – or the certainty that WoW is simply no longer the MMORPG that one enjoys.
Haven’t bought the add-on yet? Then we explain to you here, which versions of Shadowlands are available and what the biggest differences are.
Will you take advantage of the offer and take another look at “Retail-WoW”? Or are you not taking the risk of relapsing?
