A few transmogs in WoW now make you look like superheroes. This is how you become the Avenger of Azeroth!
The transfiguration system is extremely popular in World of Warcraft. It allows players to extensively customize their character’s clothing. Those who don’t want to walk around in a colorful mix of their actual gear can seek out an NPC for transfiguration. Here, items can take on the appearance of another item to ensure a uniform or particularly cool loot.
The WoW player Lin Zitong apparently has a great passion for the Avengers of Marvel. His devotion goes so far that he has sought out transmogs that allow him to embody the various heroes in World of Warcraft as well.
On Reddit, the user Peterodox took the time to translate the corresponding items.
Thor
Thor is particularly easy to create, because all you need is a cloth armor! So even a priest can stroll around as Thor.
Dr. Strange
You can also show up completely in cloth with Dr. Strange – but what else would suit a time wizard?
Iron Man
As Iron Man leads – as the name suggests – there is no way around plate armor. However, you won’t have to spend billions for the suit.
Black Widow
Form-fitting leather clothing in black provides the sexy outfit of Black Widow. Blonde hair must, of course, not be missing to complete the look.
Captain America
What would the Avengers be without Captain America? Only real with a throwing disc and must be able to carry a shield – plate armor is also required.
Hulk
Only Orcs make for a convincing Hulk. Not much makeup is needed for this, it can be farmed in a few minutes.
Hawkeye
Lastly, we have the archer Hawkeye, who comes in snazzy purple. With the required chain armor and bow, this can only be done as a hunter.
If you want to farm the sets yourselves, you just need to search for the specified item names in a database (like wowhead), where all sources of the items are listed.
What do you think of these sets? A cool thing that matches the original well? Or is it silly and has no place in World of Warcraft?
