Blizzard will raise the artifact knowledge in WoW again. This time, players don’t have to do anything for it.
Currently, the Patch 7.3 is on the test servers of World of Warcraft and players can already try out the first features of Argus, the new planet, at their leisure. However, no patch from Legion can bypass the topic of artifact weapons and therefore also not the artifact knowledge.
Artifact knowledge increases the amount of artifact power that players receive to ultimately improve their artifact weapon and unlock new abilities.
With Patch 7.2, Blizzard had raised the maximum artifact knowledge to 50 and then retroactively reduced it to 40 (still before players had reached level 40 – so no one lost anything they had earned). However, there was harsh criticism for this, as players feared that the grind would be extended further.
As Icy Veins reports, this could change with Patch 7.3. A new mechanic will ensure that players will automatically have an artifact knowledge level of 41 upon the patch’s release.
New artifact knowledge every week – with no effort required
But that’s not all. Following that, the knowledge level will automatically increase by 1 each week. After 9 weeks, players will have reached artifact knowledge level 50, which will likely not only be the cap for Patch 7.3 but also for the entirety of Legion. Icy Veins has already revealed the multiplier by which collecting artifact power increases.
Accordingly, the received artifact power will increase to level 50 with a multiplier of 55,200,000%!
This should finally motivate even the laziest artifact power collectors to unlock the last talents.
After Legion, it might go to the islands of Kul Tiras. Because the old gods are rising there and Jaina surely has a say in it.
