Antorus, the Burning Throne will be the next raid in World of Warcraft: Legion – and it’s probably coming soon. In addition to set pieces and jewelry, there will also be pretty and “pretty” mounts to collect!
Antorus, the Burning Throne is likely to be released shortly after Blizzcon. Since preparations for this have already been made with Patch 7.3.2, it won’t take long. Get ready to collect the new mounts!
In Antorus, a total of four mounts await the raiders – however, only two of them on normal difficulty. Some can be obtained as loot from bosses, others through quests and achievements. In our list, you can read which mounts there are and how to get them!
The Bound Ur’zul: 100% Drop Chance – on Mythic

The Bound Ur’zul can be obtained from Argus, the Spiltter. Similar to the Hellbeast against Gul’dan, it is said by data miners that on the Mythic difficulty level it has a drop chance of 100%.
Ur’zul are creatures formed from the bodies and souls of fallen Draenei. They will likely be available in different colors. However, how much one would like to ride something like that is another story…
The Violet Spellwing – Quest Reward from Heroic

The violet mount is a reward for a quest line. Upon completing the raid on at least Heroic difficulty, Argus, the Spiltter, drops the item “Blood of the Spiltter”. This item starts the quest “The Blood of a Titan”.
The blood must only be handed over to Khadgar in Dalaran to receive the Kirin Tor summoning crystal. This allows the summoning of the violet spellwing.
The Antoran Hound – For the Diligent Achievement Collector

The Antoran Hound is the last mount of the raid, which is available with a 100% drop chance. It is one of two mounts that is based on the second boss of the raid.
However, it requires significantly more effort. To use the hound as a mount, you must complete the achievement “Glory of the Argus Raider”. The following achievements are required for the meta-achievement:
- Is that all? – Defeat Imonar the Soulhunter after triggering all the traps on the bridge.
- Together, not alone – Defeat Varimathras without triggering “Alone in the Dark”.
- There’s a worm in it – Defeat the Worldbreaker of Garothi after you have eliminated 16 Pestilent Wyrms.
- Full Portal – Defeat Portalkeeper Hasabel after you have opened a chaotic rift.
- Strains – Defeat Aggramar after you have killed a manifestation of Taeshalach.
- Sargeras’ Hounds Unleashed – Defeat Sargeras’ Fel Hounds while both Fel Hounds have more than 5 stacks of “Fel Empowerment”.
- You can’t play war here! – Defeat the Antoran Command and place a maximum of three Fel Shield Emitters.
- Spheres of Influence – Collect the 5 Orbs of Life scattered around Eonar’s Refuge.
- The world revolves around me – Defeat Kin’garoth while 9 diabolical bombs are active.
- Remember the Titans – Defeat the Circle of the Shivarra while at least one of each type of torment survives.
- Star Dust Crusader – Defeat Argus, the Spiltter after you have collected 20 Titanic Power particles within 5 seconds.
All achievements can be completed in Antorus, the Burning Throne on normal or higher difficulty.
The Antoran Ashen Hound – for the Raider with Luck

The last mount available in the raid is the Antoran Ashen Hound. This sibling of the Hound of Shadows in reddish color is random loot with a low drop chance from the second boss, the Antoran Fel Hounds. However, it can probably drop on all difficulty levels.
This means it is also available in LFR. So if you have enough characters and time, you might be able to farm this mount after the opening of the first wing in LFR.
