Many fans wished for a movie adaptation of World of Warcraft – but as an anime. Fans have already created a matching intro.
One of the many great things about the internet is that we keep coming across things we initially thought “nobody needs this.” However, upon a second or third look, it becomes clear that the idea is actually pretty cool and only needs a creative person to implement it accordingly.
The colleagues from Buffed found the video of the Youtuber KuroGatsU, who has tackled the various CGI trailers of World of Warcraft (and a bit of Hearthstone). The most fitting scenes – that is, close-ups of the characters and dramatic sword strikes – were edited together and mixed with the appropriate anime music title “Unbind – GET IN THE RING.” The result is definitely worth watching and listening to:

Cortyn says: Everything would be better in the form of an anime. Game of Thrones would be better as an anime, Dead by Daylight would be better as an anime, and Schuhmann would also be better as an anime. Why not World of Warcraft? This also shows once again that most trailers, with the right editing, are excellent for creating a clichéd intro. Somehow I hope that a Japanese animation studio will be bold enough to simply develop a “Warcraft copy” – a bit like Sword Art Online. Well, one can still dream, right?
