The bonus for experience points in World of Warcraft has company. With the buff “Impressive Influence” there is an additional treat: More reputation for all! However, with a limitation.
What is this bonus? Blizzard announced in a blog post that for a full five weeks there will be a 100% bonus on reputation rewards with the buff “Impressive Influence”. From April 20 to May 18, 2020, there will be double reputation from all sources for factions from Legion and Battle for Azeroth.
The “Winds of Wisdom” buff for 100% more experience is currently still in effect. This was supposed to end on April 20, but has now been extended until the Pre-Patch of Shadowlands. It now overlaps with the reputation buff.
With the current XP bonus, you can level a character to level 120 in less than 13 hours. The new bonus allows you to unlock great rewards or even new races. The bonus will then passively apply at any time as before.

Level Allies quickly with “Impressive Influence”
These races you can unlock: Since WoW: Legion, there are numerous “Allied Races” that expand the portfolio of available races in World of Warcraft with additional options. New ones were added with Battle for Azeroth. In total, there are:
- for the Alliance
- Kul Tiran
- Mechagnome
- Dark Iron Dwarves
- Lightforged Draenei
- Void Elves
- for the Horde
- Zandalari Trolls
- Vulpera
- Mag’har Orcs
- Highmountain Tauren
- Nightborne
For each of these races, you need a certain reputation, sometimes even a “Revered” standing with a specific faction. With the buff, this happens faster. All information and details about the allied races in WoW can be found here.
Here the bonus won’t help you: With Patch 8.3 “Visions of N’Zoth”, two more factions entered the game: the Rajani in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms and the Accord of Uldum in Uldum.
Both factions offer strong and useful rewards such as the third level of certain essences for the Heart of Azeroth, an infinite rune for a boost in combat, as well as cosmetic rewards and mounts.
However, “Impressive Influence” will not apply to these two factions. Only factions before Patch 8.3 are affected. This helps you catch up on older content if you haven’t done so yet.
