A new mount is available in World of Warcraft. It is a must-have for all true witches – and can be earned starting now. But only this month.
The month of October has begun, and that means there are plenty of new items in the trading post in World of Warcraft. Even though the trading post has come under some criticism recently for Blizzard selling additional vendor currencies in the shop as part of “bundles,” there are many rewards that can be earned for free every month.
In the Halloween month of October, fans have a dream fulfilled that they have had since the introduction of the Hallow’s End: a flying broom as a mount. And it is permanent.
How do you get the broom? To earn the broom, you need an active WoW subscription and must fill out your travel diary in the month of October. To do this, you need to complete different activities to earn a total of 1,000 travel points. Your progress here is account-wide, so you can work on it across multiple characters.
What makes the broom so special? A flying broom has so far only been available in World of Warcraft as a temporary mount, namely during Hallow’s End. There, you can get a broom from various quests or from the Headless Horseman. The catch: the broom disappears after the event ends.
But not the “Eve’s Ghastly Rider.” This broom can be used all year round.
Even better: During Hallow’s End, summoning the broom has no cast time. So you can “spontaneously” mount up – just like with the Hallow’s End broom.
Fast unlocking of Eve’s Ghastly Rider
The activities in October are diverse and particularly easy to complete. Here are some suggestions for how you can quickly get the broom:
- Defeat Coren Direbrew during the Brewfest (150 points).
- Catch 50 fish in Pandaria (100 points).
- Visit your farm in Pandaria and dig up 1x dirt (50 points).
- Complete 15 quests in Pandaria that grant experience (150 points).
- Complete 10 quests (100 points).
- Complete 25 quests (100 points).
- Complete 50 quests (100 points).
- Defeat a world boss on the Dragon Isles (100 points).
- Complete a PvP world quest (100 points).
- Ride a carousel at the Darkmoon Faire (50 points).
These are just a few suggestions. There are many more missions, so you can choose your easiest path. You can also visit dungeons, level a character, or gather points in PvP.
You have until the end of the month, exactly until October 31st, to earn the broom.
