We present to you an addon for World of Warcraft that shamelessly exploits players’ collectability and serves as a genuine help.
An MMORPG like World of Warcraft never has a proper “end.” There is always something to do if you engage with the various types of content. Whether it’s about raid achievements, gear sets, pet battles, or transmogrification – those who want to will find something to occupy themselves.
This, however, poses great problems for “completionists,” i.e., players who like to finish everything completely.
In World of Warcraft, there is hardly a way to keep a complete overview of all the things in the game you have already collected – this is where an addon helps.
ALL THE THINGS – Perfect for Completionists in WoW
The interface extension aptly named ALL THE THINGS lists exactly what the name promises: all collectible items in the game.
The addon window lists exactly what items are still missing in the collection, corresponding to the respective area. If we are in the Molten Core, the addon lists the individual bosses like Lucifron, Ragnaros, and others, each with all loot and an indicator of what the player already possesses.
The customization options are quite extensive. If desired, certain filters can be applied to only display items that can be equipped by the current character.
If multiple items have the same appearance, you can decide whether the addon should hide these items once the template has been collected – otherwise, there is only peace when you truly possess ALL items.
A small warning: ALL THE THINGS is not suitable for you if you are already experiencing performance issues with World of Warcraft. The addon uses a relatively large amount of RAM and typically settles at around 150MB, which could lead to performance losses, especially on older machines.

Cortyn says: Hardly any interface addon for WoW is so motivating and frustrating at the same time. It is immensely useful to see which items are still collectible right when entering a dungeon or raid. The little sound effects that play whenever you unlock something new directly reach the brain’s reward center and make me smile at least for a moment.
It is all the more overwhelming when you see in the “Dungeons & Raids” tab that you have only collected just under 10,000 out of over 25,000 items. But hey – a clear goal until the release of Battle for Azeroth, right?
In line with this, World of Warcraft now has a “Legacy Loot” system – making collecting even faster!
