4. Daily quests in Mechagon
Also somewhat hidden are new rewards that have been added to very old quests – namely the Mechagon dailies. There you have a chance to earn these four great rewards:
- Self-Sealing Stembarrel
- Small H.O.M.E. Cog
- Small Mechanical Crate
- Retired Industrial Gnomegrabber
Typically, only one quest in Mechagon offers the additional housing reward each day. Therefore, fly around to the various NPCs with blue exclamation marks and see which of them offers the “Self-Construction Household Goods Set”. You only need to complete this one quest, but you can of course complete more to gather additional scraps for other Mechagnome decorations.
5. Paragon rewards of Highmountain
If you are a fan of rather unusual Tauren clans or simply looking for more variety in wall decorations, you should complete a few quests in Highmountain. Because when you are revered there and gather another 10,000 reputation points to obtain a Paragon chest, a fancy banner awaits you.
- Bloodtotem Banner
Especially during “Legion Remix”, you can quickly farm the Paragon chests by simply completing world quests in Highmountain – after all, each world quest there gives a whopping 2,000 reputation points. This way, you can earn several Paragon chests and thus also banners every day – as the drop chance seems to be 100%.
6. Cooking quest in old Dalaran
Cheese and grapes are simply part of Blood Elves – or on any free table in the house, so that there are always suitable snacks available. However, to do this, you must complete the cooking quest “Cheese for Goldenshine,” which is in the old Dalaran – that is, the Dalaran from “Wrath of the Lich King.” The quest is available for both the Alliance and the Horde.

The cooking quest is not offered every day; on the contrary, it is quite rare. If you want this reward, it’s best to check in every day with a character. As soon as the quest is active, it’s best to complete it with multiple characters to stock up.
7. Special missions in the Garrison
A visit to the old Garrison from “Warlords of Draenor” is worth it, because there you can earn new housing items in the Draenei style. For this, you need to purchase the “Scout Reports” from Sergeant Krähler (Alliance). The scout reports each start a quest. Three of the scout reports (“Socrethar’s Cliff,” “The Heart of Shattrath,” and “The Port of Shattrath”) lure with a reward at the end:
- Elodor Barrel
- Draenei Farmer’s Trellis
- Shadowmoon Open-Air Shed
Please note that starting these missions costs you garrison resources, which you could also spend on other housing rewards. However, for Draenei fans, these quests will be essential, as such stylish Draenei architecture cannot be found anywhere else in the game.
