The “small” patch 7.2.5 of World of Warcraft is finally live. We tell you what has changed and show you the patch notes for WoW 7.2.5 in English.
Since around 3:00 AM, the servers of World of Warcraft have been offline today (06/14/2017), as 8 hours of maintenance work were scheduled. Now, most servers are back up and the new patch 7.2.5 is applied!
Starting today, players can attempt to save the bronze dragon lady from her repeated death in the “The Deaths of Chromie” scenario. However, this will require several attempts, as it takes a lot of time to solve all the mysteries. But Chromie doesn’t have that time, because after 15 minutes the scenario is already over. In multiple attempts, players will discover what the strange murders are about.
WoW Patch 7.2.5 now live – Timewalking still to come
Another highlight is the Timewalking in the Black Temple. However, this is tied to the Timewalking event of “The Burning Crusade”, which is why it will take a few more weeks until we can truly enjoy this raid.
Also, the mythic dungeons are now significantly harder – not everyone in the community is pleased. The hardest instances are up to 50% more difficult!
The real highlight, the opening of the Tomb of Sargeras, is still a few days away.
Together with the opening of the Tomb, the maximum item level also increases. Especially legendary items can then be raised to the proud item level of 970. A quest is necessary to guide players into the Tomb of Sargeras, where they must collect 50 essences. Contrary to some false reports, the quest must be repeated for each legendary item. “New” legendary items, however, already drop at level 970 – as soon as the Tomb is open.
