Do you want stylish, exclusive mounts in World of Warcraft: The War Within? We will show you 5 of them that you can easily farm.
A new expansion of World of Warcraft has launched, and along with it comes a redesign of your character. Not only is the transmog changed, but you also pull out the optically matching mount. Collectors will find many new mounts in Khaz Algar. We will introduce you to some that you can easily farm.
Some are guaranteed drops, others require a bit of farming effort, and yet others need a good dose of luck.
Swarmite Skyhunter
You don’t have to farm the Swarmite Skyhunter in the traditional sense; you receive it upon completing the achievement “Glyph Hunter from Khaz Algar”.
You unlock this achievement by finding all the glyphs while flying in the new areas of The War Within.
You can check your individual progress in the various “Glyph Hunter” achievements.
When you are near a glyph, a text message will appear in the chat, and you will receive a buff that describes the approximate direction of the glyph.
If that’s too much effort, you can also use addons like “HandyNotes: The War Within.” Then all glyphs will be displayed on the map, and you just have to collect them in order.
Once you have collected all the glyphs in the 4 new areas, you will immediately unlock the mount.
Siesbarg
Siesbarg is obtained at the end of a quest line, which, however, requires a significant amount of farming work. Since you will collect a large part of the materials “on the side” from dungeons, the requirement is not as high as one might initially fear.
First, you must defeat the rare enemy Tha’ktath in Azj-Kahet. You can find him at the coordinates 63 / 66 on a rise. However, this mob has a rather high respawn time, so it may take hours before you actually see him. It is likely that you will just encounter him randomly at some point.
Once you have defeated him, you will likely receive “Vial of Tha’kath’s Blood” as a drop. This item starts the quest line, for which you subsequently need to farm several things:
- First, 1,500 Nerubian Chitin
- Then, 1,000 Nerubian Toxin
- Lastly, 500 Blood of the Nerubians
The items drop from all Nerubians in the expansion, including enemies in dungeons and raids. Those who are not in a hurry can let this quest run “on the side.” Others should join a farming group, of which there are usually several in the group finder.
Once you have completed the last step of the quest, you will proudly possess Siesbarg – a rather impressive creature.
