Patch 11.2 of World of Warcraft features many new and extraordinary mounts. We will tell you which ones you can easily farm.
A new patch in World of Warcraft always means that there is much to discover. However, after completing the story, most players look for the special rewards. Few items are as impressive as a fancy new mount that will allow you to stomp through the history of Azeroth (and other worlds).
Even on the destroyed planet K’aresh, the setting for Patch 11.2 Spirits of K’aresh, there are plenty of mounts to be gained. We will show you 3 of these mounts that can be obtained with little effort and are nice additions to your collection.
Searing Voidcrab
The “Searing Voidcrab” is one of the easiest mounts to acquire in Patch 11.2. You just need to complete the campaign enough to unlock weekly activities.
After that, you can accept a weekly quest from Shad’anis, completion of which rewards you with 7 “Unbound Coins.” You need exactly these 7 to buy the mount from Shad’anis.
Alternatively, you could spend the coins on transmog, battle pets, or toys. You receive new coins each week, allowing you to collect all rewards fairly quickly.
You can find Shad’anis at the coordinates 50 / 36 – that’s the small island in the northwest where you first used phase diving.
Pearl Krolusk
You will need even less effort for the Pearl Krolusk, but you will need a bit of luck.
The Pearl Krolusk drops from the rare enemy “Urmag.” You can find it on K’aresh at the coordinates 70 / 50, just southeast of the oasis. Please note that you must be in “phase diving” mode to see Urmag at all. This means you must have completed the campaign as much as possible to gain access to phase diving.
The drop chance is approximately 7%, and Urmag has a relatively short respawn time of just a few minutes. If you are unlucky with your first character, you can log onto a second character and try your luck again.
Phase-Lost Shaleback
The “Phase-Lost Shaleback” requires a bit more work, as you will need to farm for quite a while. The most important requirement is that you have already unlocked phase diving and upgraded your Reshii Wraps to at least level 2.
Once that’s done, you can discover small energy orbs during phase diving, which appear at various points across K’aresh. When you touch these orbs – that is, simply walk through them – there is a good chance of about 20% that you will unlock a transmog model of a weapon you do not yet own.
In total, there are 28 of these transmog templates available through the orbs. Once you have all 28 templates, you will receive the achievement “Phases Found and Lost,” which then unlocks the Phase-Lost Shaleback!
A tip: As soon as you can upgrade your Reshii Wraps to level 3, this achievement will become significantly easier. Because then all enemies during phase diving have a chance to also leave an orb that contains a potential reward. This speeds up the process considerably. So wait another week if possible until the upgrade is possible.
Of course, there are many more mounts in Patch 11.2 that you can unlock. However, many of them involve a significantly increased time investment or will only be unlocked in the coming weeks. The mounts we presented are relatively easy to obtain and can quickly help your collection grow.
