WoW: 10 Specializations are being buffed – Is yours among them?

Ten specializations in World of Warcraft are getting nice buffs. We reveal which classes will soon become even more powerful.

Although World of Warcraft Shadowlands has been released for some time now, balance in dungeons and raids is still not quite right. While initial changes have eliminated the biggest problems, fine-tuning is still in progress. Therefore, ten specializations can expect some changes.

What will be changed? A total of ten specializations are receiving some adjustments with damage increases of several percent. In detail, these are:

• Death Knight
  • Frost
    • The damage of all abilities has been increased by 5%.

• Demon Hunter
  • Havoc
    • The damage of all abilities has been increased by 3%.

• Hunter
  • Beast Mastery
    • The damage of all abilities has been increased by 5%.
  • Survival
    • The damage of all abilities has been increased by 5%.

• Mage
  • Frost
    • The damage of all abilities has been increased by 3%.

• Rogue
  • Assassination
    • The damage of all abilities has been increased by 5%.

• Shaman
  • Enhancement
    • The damage of all abilities has been increased by 3%.

• Warlock
  • Destruction
    • The damage of all abilities has been increased by 3%.

• Warrior
  • Arms
    • The damage of all abilities has been increased by 3%.
  • Fury
    • The damage of all abilities has been increased by 3%.

When will the changes go live? This will be implemented with the maintenance work on the upcoming Wednesday, February 3rd – provided there are no further changes to these improvements for the various classes.

What does this mean? The changes are unlikely to significantly alter the ranking of DPS classes in Castle Nathria. The result should be that all classes are a little closer together and all DPS classes are viewed as “viable.” In the past weeks and months, there have been significant disparities among the various specializations.
