In the sandbox MMO Worlds Adrift, you often have trouble with hostile players. In a video guide from the developers, it is humorously shown how to “git gud”.
Git gud! These words mean something like “Get good/better.” Often, the phrase is delivered in a laconic manner when someone can’t get past a certain point in a game and complains. “Git gud” therefore means something like “Don’t be so dramatic, just put in the effort!”
“Git gud” – The Ultimate Video Guide!
This is how you become “gud”: Bossa Studios, the developers of the sandbox MMO Worlds Adrift, have a heart for their players. Since beginners are often slaughtered in the open PvP of the game by envious fellow players, they humorously present in their video how to defeat all opponents.
By simply “getting good.” Among other things, in the following (not quite serious) ways:
- Drop parts from your airship onto opponents.
- Point ship cannons backward so you don’t look so threatening.
- Disguise your powerful ship with junk so it doesn’t look so powerful.
