Wargaming is treating its fighter simulation World of Warplanes to a thoughtful and explosive Christmas event.

WoW players (yes, that’s how you abbreviate World of Warplanes) can take a seat in a UFO that shoots snowballs over Christmas. The UFO is designated UFO 42M.
The UFO was already in the game on April 1st, but now it is fulfilling its true purpose: Engaging in fierce battles on the new map “Lapland” under the watchful eyes of a rather unfriendly snowman. Those who successfully complete the mission “Happy New Year” will be rewarded with the light bomber Dornier Do 17Z-7 Kauz.
The event starts today, Thursday, December 18th, and runs until January 15th, and looks like a lot of quirky fun in the trailer:
