In World of Warcraft, the new race at the Darkmoon Faire is drawing comparisons to Mario Kart.
For some, the SELFIEs were absolutely the last thing that should be in a fantastical and dark world like World of Warcraft. However, they will probably enjoy the new Darkmoon racing better: With some absurd mini-games, WoW players have already gained a lot of experience, and the Darkmoon Faire exists somewhat outside the normal storyline, in a kind of meta-area.
The site Kotaku draws comparisons of the new race to the classic Mario Kart. On a set track, players would have to reach three markers as quickly as possible. Along the way, there are speed boosts, jump gear, and other gags. If other players are in the race, it is said that amusing chaos may occur, like in the game classic Mario Kart.
