Yes, I know… Not another World of Warcraft news. But there are just things that need to be addressed – and that is this year’s BlizzCon. The Blizzard storm will sweep over the Anaheim Convention Center in California from November 7 to 8, 2014, hopefully leaving excited fans in its wake!
As every year, there will be exciting information about new games from Blizzard, you can exclusively try them out and discuss with the developers. But the eSports tournaments featuring professional players from all over the world are always exciting to watch as well.
But before you pack up the care package for the journey, strap on your backpack, and pilgrimage to the airport, we want to draw your attention to the price: A proud 199 US Dollars (plus applicable taxes and fees) will be the cost of admission. Whether the BlizzCon is worth that much to you, you’ll need to decide relatively soon, as the sale of online tickets will take place from Thursday, May 8, at 4:00 AM (CEST) and on Saturday, May 10, at 7:00 PM (CEST).
Do you also want to participate in the legendary benefit dinner on November 6? Then save up a total of 750 US Dollars (also plus applicable taxes and fees) – that already includes the admission fee for the BlizzCon. The proceeds will be donated to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County, and you will have the opportunity to meet game developers, executives, and other Blizzard staff. The sale for this will begin on May 14 at 4 AM (CEST).
And now to be honest:
Is it worth it to you? Have you perhaps been to a BlizzCon before? Do you prefer to wait for the information online?
But amidst all the excitement for the upcoming event, a few questions still arise…
- That does not seriously mean that Warlords of Draenor will only come AFTER the BlizzCon, right?
- Maybe not until the next birthday of World of Warcraft?
- Doesn’t the WoD Beta start in early summer?
- And if WoD does come out beforehand – what do they want to announce? The next expansion for WoW?
- Questions upon questions… And I am so impatient!
