In World of Warships, we can now hire the action hero Steven Seagal as a ship captain. All we need to do is gather a lot of experience points in Wargaming’s ship spectacle within a certain time.
Steven Seagal saved the USS Missouri from terrorists in the 1992 action spectacle “Under Siege” as the rough cook Casey Ryback. 24 years later, he returns to the US Navy, but not as a cook, but as a commander! In World of Warships, Wargaming’s naval warfare MMO, we can hire the aging martial artist as a 6-point captain for American warships thanks to a special event.
Shells instead of soup!
But before Captain Seagal comes on board, we must prove ourselves worthy. Only those who accumulate a proud 70,000 experience points in co-op, random, and ranked battles from November 1, 2016, to December 14, 2016, will get the 90s hero on their ships. Seagal also brings 100 flags with signal code “Hotel Zulu”.
As Wargaming is indeed Wargaming and spares no expense or effort for its special events (see the epic trailer for the Halloween event in World of Tanks Blitz), there is a very cool trailer for the Seagal event, in which Seagal, as a reclusive Aikido master, welcomes a new student in a mountain cabin, but then unexpectedly comes to World of Warships. We have embedded the trailer here for you.
Jürgen says: I watched nearly all the action movies with Seagal and co. when I was young in the 90s, and Under Siege was one of my favorite films. I mean, a brawling cook who just happens to be a Navy SEAL taking down terrorists on a battleship: How awesome is that?! Therefore, I HAVE to have Seagal and my current plans for other games will probably have to give way to Wargaming’s naval warfare MMO.
