In World of Warships, players have the opportunity to test new ships if they prove to be accurate shots.
A “kill steal” is referred to when one player deals the main damage to an opponent and another player comes by and delivers the finishing blow. This is quite frowned upon, and Wargaming is now encouraging it.
For the latest event, which runs until October 19, players can earn the right to either captain the Königsberg, a German cruiser, or the Ognewoj, a Russian destroyer. To do this, they must sink four enemy ships in a battle – the killing blow counts. For the Königsberg, four enemy ships must be sunk in a level IV Japanese ship; for the Ognewoj, it must be in a level IV American ship.
The Tier V cruiser Königsberg and the Tier V destroyer Ognewoj are among the new ships that will soon be joining World of Warships.
If players achieve the four kills (no matter how they did it), they can try out the respective ship until October 19. After that, it will disappear again. However, they will receive the experience they earned with it.
