The military MMO World of Warships receives three new maps and the battle mode “Zone” with the patch tonight.
World of Warships is still relatively new, at the end of September it transitioned from beta to release. This means that individual patches bring a lot of changes, especially tweaking the details of the reward systems.
During the night from Thursday to Friday, between 4:00 AM and 5:30 AM, the servers will be down, and the patch 0.5.1 is expected to arrive in the morning of November 6th. This patch will change many details regarding account points and the defense pass level, introduce new sounds to the game, adjust the screws of daily missions, and much more.
World of Warships features battles from one end of the world to the other
Three new maps are coming to the game. Fireland is inspired by South America, “The Trap” recreates historical battles between Japan and the USA, with a volcano rumbling in the background. And Northern Lights will be the first night battle of World of Warships – including the natural phenomenon Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights.
A new mode called “Zone” is coming to the free-to-play MMO. In the center of the map, there is a large base, but it can only be captured in the last 2 minutes of a battle. So for the main part of the match, it’s about working towards that end.
