In June, World of Warships will start a collaboration with the “Warhammer 40,000” universe. This will bring new skins, commanders, and more. First images of this have already been revealed.
What’s new? The seas in World of Warships will soon appear significantly darker, thanks to the collaboration with Games Workshop’s “Warhammer 40k”. The nautical multiplayer game from Wargaming will feature ships inspired by the grim future of the Warhammer franchise in June, among other things.
A similar collaboration has already taken place in Wargaming’s “World of Tanks”, which introduced cool tanks in WH40K style.
What content is available? In a press release, Wargaming revealed that new content will include skins, camouflages, commanders, and much more.
Wargaming states: “Two of the largest factions in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, the Imperium and Chaos, will be represented by unique and fearsome ships, with the following fearless commanders at the helm: Justinian Lyons XIII and Arthas Roqthar the Cold.”
How do the contents look?
This was showcased: For this announcement, two ships were already shown that present the new content.
They each represent one of the mentioned factions from WH40k. The ship of the Chaos faction shines in wicked red:
The second ship belongs to the Imperium faction and is therefore dominated by golden colors. This style also looks good on the ship from World of Warships:
How can you buy this? If you are interested in the contents, you can purchase a pre-sale package that will be released on May 27. This will also include flags. Additionally, players will receive special bonus missions where they can earn “Warhammer 40,000” boxes containing ships, commanders, and camouflages themed to match.
The entire content will then be available for purchase starting June 2020.
What do you think of the content? Do you find the collaboration good and have you been waiting to showcase your ships in this style?
