World of Warships brings girls and ships from an anime series into the game – complete with everything typically included (Spoiler: cute girls).
The Return of the Fog Fleet
Actually, in World of Warships, players are more or less used to realistic ships, which they can use to shoot torpedoes and cannon fire at each other. However, the developers of the game take it a step further and are bringing ships and characters from the Japanese series “Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova” (Arpeggio of Blue Steel: Ars Nova) into the game world.
Looking at it neutrally, the setting of the series is incredibly well suited for this, as it mainly revolves around the mysterious ships of the Fog Fleet that have appeared all over the world and are blocking the countries’ trade routes. However, because that alone would be too boring, each of these ships has an avatar in human form – basically the control unit – and, as expected, these are different anime girls.
The different ships of the Fog Fleet in the game will then have similarly futuristic weapons and have also retained their characteristic neon look. How they will play can only be said once the said update goes live.

As a special treat, they have even managed to get the original voice of the main character “Iona” (a ship AI) from the series for the game – fans will definitely be excited.
