In the fantasy MMORPG World of Warcraft, a new zone called the Tanaan Jungle is coming with 6.2. What item level is the zone designed for? And is Leeroy Jenkins really in the WoW movie?
There are now comments on Twitter about the difficulty of the new zone Tanaan Jungle. Some fans wish it should be “extremely difficult,” requiring heroic or even mythical gear at top level, so that a “high-end” zone is finally nice and elite.
However, Blizzard quickly puts a stop to such thoughts. The Tanaan Jungle in World of Warcraft is definitely supposed to be harder than the rest of Draenor. But it should definitely not require “high-end raid gear.”
@JoeyGiggles_FTW @atanae @Myrothvel3 Definitely should be tougher than the rest of Draenor. Definitely should not require high-end raid gear

The zone is set to come with 6.2, but this content patch does not yet have a release date.
And as a little mini-news. Leeroy Jenkins, who just celebrated his 10th anniversary, was actually in an early version of the script for the WoW movie. The author confirmed that. He also died in the film because he couldn’t hold back and charged into battle against an orc army. During this, he let out a powerful battle cry. One can probably guess how it sounded.

By the way, there are some indications that the now cult character Leeroy Jenkins originally had a satirical origin story. The legendary video was probably meant as a parody of “overly cautious, overly planning” guilds; the impulsive Leeroy, however, stole the show so brilliantly that this aspect of the history was forgotten.
