The pre-patch for World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor is live and there is nothing to do until the addon launches? Far from it!
Those who thought there would be two more comfortable green weeks in Pandaria before the Iron Horde invades Azeroth should hurry to the Blasted Lands or the depths of Orgrimmar!
Questline “Invasion of the Iron Horde”

The dark portal has turned red and a vanguard of the Iron Horde has invaded the Blasted Lands. This world event offers players the chance to prove themselves against the onslaught of the Iron Horde.
Siege machines must be sabotaged, scouts killed, executions stopped, and Nethergarde Keep cleansed. Some players will also be pleased to finally kill dreadfang ogres instead of sha monstrosities and face a battle-hardened orc in Fort Okril’lon as the final boss.
Those who overcome all challenges will be rewarded with the pet “Iron Star”, an achievement, and the title “of the Iron Vanguard”.
Account-bound Weapons of Garrosh Hellscream
For those who have not yet defeated Garrosh Hellscream in the Siege of Orgrimmar, there is now a special incentive for the next two weeks.
For defeating the Warchief for the first time, players are guaranteed to receive one of the 11 coveted account-bound weapons, which will increase in power until level 100 and will no longer be obtainable after the addon is released.
The weapons can be obtained on all three difficulty levels, except in the raid browser. However, their item level is capped at 620 up to level 100.
