It is a well-known fact that Blizzard’s card game “HearthStone” is thematically set in the World of Warcraft, and theoretically can be played in any tavern in the world by travelers, thus the next step is only logical: HearthStone finds its way into the world of WoW.
Although not in all its beauty and tactical depth, players will be able to purchase three items from an NPC named “Benjamin Brode” (a nod to HearthStone developer Ben Brode), which among other things allows the famous game board of the card game to appear in the world. “Benjamin Brode” is located in the players’ garrison if they have the appropriate buildings.
In addition to the game board, one can also purchase a “booster pack” and the “victory hand”, which when used will play the characteristic sound effects of the card game and come with a nice animation.
It is still unclear whether these items require any specific prerequisites (such as an active HearthStone account), but at the moment it seems this is not the case.
