A new patch for World of Warcraft hotfixes several bosses in World of Warcraft. One of them has been in the game for over 10 years.
On the night of November 27 to 28, a new hotfix for World of Warcraft was applied. This primarily changes some details in the Mythic raid Uldir, but a few changes also affect much older dungeons and raids. For example, Algalon the Observer, a boss from Ulduar, will also receive a nerf. Wrath of the Lich King was released in November 2008.
Why the nerf to Algalon? Since “Legion,” players can dive into a scaling version of the Ulduar raid during the “Timewalking: Wrath of the Lich King.” This has given this old raid new relevance. Due to the “stat squish” at the start of Battle for Azeroth, Ulduar was hardly doable in timewalking. Now, even the last boss, Algalon, should be at an acceptable difficulty level again.
