The film adaptation of the fantasy MMORPG World of Warcraft has been postponed again. It is now scheduled to be released in June 2016.
The film based on World of Warcraft has been completed since 2014, but has been delayed for a second time. It was actually slated for December 18, 2015, but was postponed after it became clear that the new Star Wars film would be released on that day.
Then the target date was March 11, but this deadline will also not be met. Currently, a release of the film is planned for June 10, 2016.
.@Legendary’s WARCRAFT will be in theaters Friday, June 10, 2016. #Summer2016

It is not known whether the film was postponed for marketing reasons to avoid strong competition, or if the World of Warcraft film needs more time in post-production. This likely also affects the trailer planning.
Update: There is now a statement from the director on Twitter. He says that the film has been postponed because Universal likes it so much that they believe it should be a summer blockbuster.
@Jackster006 well… Cause Universal really like it, and think it should be a Summer movie… Which is great! But a frustrating extra wait!
