The fantasy MMORPG World of Warcraft is amused by the successful TV series “Game of Thrones.”
In the USA, the film adaptation of the fantasy novels “A Song of Ice and Fire” known as “Game of Thrones” is a pop culture phenomenon. It airs on HBO, where sex and violence can be shown, or both together. The series will likely go down in television history for its use of “sexposition.” This term refers to conveying necessary information to the audience while not skimping on female charms.
People discuss Game of Thrones during lunch breaks at companies, on schoolyards, among friends, and of course on the internet. And all this, despite the fact that the first novel is almost 20 years old. Even though the TV series is now venturing into narrative new territories.
In one of the latest episodes of Game of Thrones, an “undead army” appeared, which indeed resembles the hordes of the Lich King that were seen not only in the intro to “Wrath of the Lich King.” This prompted Blizzard’s Twitter account to post what Arthas would have to say about it: “I heard you have an undead army? … Sweet.”
