A group of players ventured into the new dungeon “Maw of Souls” from the Alpha of World of Warcraft: Legion. Check here how the run through the eerie ship of the Vrykul went and which bosses are waiting there.
The Maw of Souls – Short and Sweet
The closed Alpha of World of Warcraft: Legion is in full swing. More and more content is being brought to the test servers for the chosen players to try out. In addition to new areas (such as the elven metropolis Suramar), there are also dungeons that are particularly woven into the storyline of each zone this time.
The YouTubers from BellularGaming took a direct look into the dungeon “Maw of Souls”. After conquering the harbor, the players board a Vrykul ship and head out to the open sea. In addition to some cool boss fights, such as “Ymirion, the Fallen King,” which players might remember from “Wrath of the Lich King,” a huge sea monster awaits that gradually destroys the ship itself.
Although the dungeon only lasts about 15 minutes, the YouTubers consider it the “most beautiful dungeon so far”; they particularly liked the effects of the ship on the sea. However, the bosses were too easy for the testers – Blizzard could increase the damage significantly to provide a real challenge even on normal difficulty.
