In World of Warcraft: Legion, we now have 12 different heroes to choose from, but which one should I play? And for which one should I use my precious level 100 booster? A new feature called class trial helps with hero selection.
Every buyer of Legion gets a free level booster that allows them to level a single hero to level 100. Since additional boosters can only be obtained for real money, one should think carefully about which hero to upgrade. However, newcomers and returning players are often overwhelmed by the selection.

Therefore, Blizzard provides valuable assistance and offers a new feature. In the character creation menu, we can now create a hero as a “class trial.” The character starts at level 100 and directly enters the point where our faction’s airship departs for the Broken Isles to fight the Legion.
From then on, we can play the new hero up to the point where we receive our artifact weapon. After that, the character is still there, but locked until we use a level booster to turn them into a full-fledged hero. By the way, we can also create several such test heroes, as long as there are enough slot spaces available. The trial period until the artifact weapon should be sufficient to try out all potential heroes and hopefully make the right choice for the booster usage.
