In World of Warcraft, starting with Patch 6.1, there will be an NPC who sells those followers that are available optionally through the outpost and that the player is still missing.
Those who are traveling in Draenor will repeatedly face the choice between two buildings that provide specific advantages: Prefer a mount that can be fought from its back or rather a war machine? Prefer a shredder or a formidable ogre that comes at the push of a button and beats up the enemies?
A side effect of the outposts is that players can recruit certain followers per zone while others cannot. Those who wanted to have all followers had to change the outposts – this has recently been made easier, but it is still quite a cumbersome and costly affair.
Therefore, Blizzard will introduce an NPC in 6.1 who will sell the missing garrison followers for gold. They are, regardless of what they say, indeed mercenaries. Also, the dear grandma of Thrall, Geyah.
Players can also hire other followers: If they had the choice between three in the introductory quest, the other two are now also available for purchase – or simply followers that one missed in a quest.
