In the beta of Warlords of Draenor, the expansion for the MMO World of Warcraft, a new mount has appeared that seems to be intended as a reward for the Recruit-a-Friend program.
In the past, there were rockets, today there are Flame Steeds. The resourceful data miners from mmo-champion have struck gold again. They discovered images of a Flame Steed, which – as the item description says – “was created personally by Ragnaros for the daughter he never had.”
A Recruit-a-Friend program works like this: One player invites a friend via email to try out this thing called World of Warcraft. If the recipient of the message accepts and subscribes, Blizzard can welcome a new player and the recruiter can look forward to Warlords of Draenor with Flame Fury.
And yes – the first party poopers are saying that it’s just a flame reskin of the Hearthsteed mount.
