As the Raiders gradually make their way through the current raid of World of Warcraft, dataminers have already found the cinematic that will play after the last boss fight. Warning, the video and this post contain massive spoilers. You have been warned.

Those who defeat the 13th boss – and thus Archimonde – of the Hellfire Citadel will be rewarded with a cinematic to honor their achievement and advance the storyline. The Eredar falls defeated into the dust, but not without banishing his summoner Gul’dan into the portal, which then closes with a loud bang. The liberation of Draenor is celebrated, and even Grommash Hellscream rejoices along with the forces of the Horde and Alliance (for reasons). But it’s best to take a look at the video yourself:
The video made me personally very contemplative and raises more questions about the lore than it answers. But I will elaborate on this in detail next week.
