In the MMORPG World of Warcraft (WoW), Blizzard has now announced when the next raid, Blackrock Foundry, will open.
Similar to the last raid Highmaul, Blackrock Foundry will open in intervals.
- On February 4th, Blackrock Foundry opens on NORMAL and HEROIC. The world boss Rukhmar is now also circling through the peaks of Arrakh.
- On February 11th, the raid opens on MYTHIC.
- On February 18th, the first wing of the raid finder opens. It features Gruul, the Dragonkiller, and the Smelting Furnace.
- On February 25th, there’s the second wing of the LFR with Hans’gar and Franzok, Flamebinder Kar’gaz, and Kromog.
- On March 11th (so there’s a 2-week break in between), the third wing opens with the bosses: Beastmaster Darmac, Commander Thogar, and “the Iron Maidens.”
- Another 2 weeks later, the last wing will be tackled, on March 25th, the LFR heroes will face Blackfist.
Just because the next raid opens on February 3rd does not mean that 6.1 will be released then. Blizzard tweeted:
PSA: Blackrock Foundry not dependent on release of Patch 6.1. Cross-realm Mythic Highmaul to be available with release of 6.2.
