If you haven’t played World of Warcraft for a while and are looking to dive back in with the new patch 6.2, you will find a fairly inexpensive way to completely equip your character for raids.
Big Epics for Apexis
The jungle of Tanaan is rightly called the Timeless Isle of WoD. Just like back in the Mist of Pandaria days, it’s very quick for new (and old) characters to get gear that allows them to jump right into the new raid experience. This time, the currency is not timeless coins but the Apexis crystals, which can accumulate faster than ever.
For just 25,000 Apexis crystals, you can upgrade any piece of armor to level 695 – for 30,000 crystals even your weapon! You just need to visit the Arrakoa of the “Order of the Awakened” in your faction’s base in the Tanaan Jungle (Vol’mar or Lion’s Watch).
For each 5,000 (10,000 in the case of a weapon) Apexis crystals, you receive an item that can be transformed into a 650 item. For another 20,000 crystals, you can acquire a Mighty Apexis Fragment, combine it with the new item – and voila! Your character’s strength should have received a significant boost.
Note that you can also obtain the blue, upgradable armor pieces while questing and farming. Particularly rare enemies often have them.
