Anyone who had an active account in World of Warcraft on November 14 will receive five free days. Blizzard wants to compensate players for the rough launch.
“Free days” is a topic that often comes up as a demand in forums, but is granted relatively rarely. Now it is finally the case with the veteran World of Warcraft. There were issues at the launch of Warlords of Draenor with long queues, some servers were unstable, and frustration was high. Meanwhile, they have managed the problems quite well.
At Blizzard, they recognize the severity of the impact and show leniency: While many were able to play well and quickly reached level 100, others, especially on the most popular realms, were stuck in long queues. And even if many would be satisfied with the Warlords of Draenor expansion, that does not justify an underwhelming launch.
Therefore, all players who had an active account on November 14 in Oceania, America, or Europe will receive five days credited.
