The military MMO World of Tanks invites players on Xbox 360 to a very special event: This weekend, the moon will be like a battlefield.
Celebrating 40 years of “Humanity on the Moon”, the anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission, the more action-oriented Xbox version of World of Tanks is hosting a very special event: The moon mode runs until July 20.
Those who log in during this time will receive a special tank, the M24 Lunar Tank – of course with lasers. Anything else would be totally silly for tanks on the moon. Anyone who starts a battle with it will land on the moon’s surface – with reduced gravity and the good old Earth in the background.
