In World of Tanks, the Winter Showdown, the pixel tank event, has begun. Until February 9, tankers can try their luck in 8-bit.
Starting today, Monday, January 26, Wargaming’s World of Tanks is embracing Pixel Season.
The event “The Winter Showdown” puts tankers in the cockpit of 8-bit versions of the vehicles T110E5, AMX 50 Foch (155), and LTTB. The game is played on a special map.
The three tanks each take on a different role. The T110E5 is considered a mammoth, as a heavy tank. The polar bear is a tank destroyer (LTTB), a ranged fighter, and the arctic fox (AMX 50 Foch) is a nimble, light tank.
The event lasts until February 9 at 6:10 AM. A battle is expected to last about 7 minutes. For all the rewards and special features, you can read about it on the official page.
Definitely an unusual idea, it will be interesting to see how the players receive it. This evening, January 26, from 11:00 PM to midnight, there will be a presentation and Q&A about the event on the Wargaming Twitch channel.
