The humorous tank game World of Tanks impresses at the Super Bowl with three funny commercials. Among other things, Sherman tanks and impotence drugs feature in them.
The commercial actually starts quite typically: An older gentleman takes a pill with the distinctly ambiguous name “Stiffedra” and confidently grinning, enters the pool with his partner, while a voice-over ambiguously extols the advertised impotence drug. Suddenly, a Sherman tank rolls in and flattens everything! “In a World of Tanks, Tanks rule!”
Tanks crush everything!
This commercial is just one of several funny clips that the Belarusian developer studio Wargaming produced for the Super Bowl, the major American football event. Ad slots during the Super Bowl are in high demand due to the immense viewer counts, so these mini-films likely weren’t cheap.
All the films have in common that they come off like typical, albeit slightly exaggerated commercials for various formats, which then are abruptly cut off when the tank appears out of nowhere and crushes everything.
In other spots, it’s not about impotence drugs, but rather a small house that meets a sudden end under tank tracks. Or about a supposed series where quarrelsome housewives insult each other as the worst mother and slut until a tank puts an end to the disgraceful bickering. The commercials are ridiculously funny in their absurd silliness. Therefore, we have embedded all videos from Wargaming’s US YouTube channel here for you. Tanks Rule!
