World of Tanks Blitz is now available on Android after iOS. Android players will also be able to face off against their iOS counterparts with their tanks.
It has been and remains the stated strategy of Wargaming: They want to bring their flagship tank World of Tanks to as many platforms as possible. After PC and Xbox 360, iOS was included, receiving a portable version of the Free2Play MMO hit with Blitz. Now, their next target is the Android operating system.
In the coming weeks, it will hit the Google Play Store. The catch: With a cross-platform feature, playing with iOS gamers is possible.
Recently, Wargaming announced that the three “World of” games, World of Tanks, World of Warplanes, and World of Warships together have surpassed the 100 million mark across all platforms. Apparently, they are far from finished.
