World of Tanks Blitz is gaining momentum, in a figurative sense. The formerly mobile-only spin-off of World of Tanks is now also being released on Valve’s distribution platform Steam. There, we can grab the free-to-play game for free and play with our Steam buddies. Additionally, we also receive special “Pioneer Packs” on Steam, which contain special tanks like the “Panther 88” or the legendary “Großtraktor”. From November 9 to 18, there is also a special camouflage for Steam players called Breakthrough.
PC Master Race?
The great thing about World of Tanks Blitz is that you can play the game cross-platform. Both Apple users and Android users can toss grenades at each other on their respective devices without the game having a problem with it.
This platform compatibility goes even further, and PC players can compete with mobile gamers. However, since PC gamers might have an advantage over touchscreen warriors thanks to mouse and keyboard, players on mobile platforms can activate an option so they don’t match with PC users in the same game.
