In the military MMO World of Tanks, the new patch 9.8 was released this week, which introduced the game mode “Domination” as an event.
World of Tanks continues to roll on. With 110 million accounts now across all platforms, they still aim for the Xbox One. This week, patch 9.8 was released for PC, which now separates standard definition and high definition versions of World of Tanks into two different clients, so that players who want to play with the “weaker” client or have to due to hardware constraints no longer need to download so much.
The most interesting new feature of the patch is surely the fresh game mode “Domination”, which we were able to briefly highlight in a preview of 9.8 from the test server a few weeks ago. It is a “Capture the Flag” game with only a few tank models available for selection. This mode is still set to undergo significant adjustments.
