One of the most important tasks in World of Warcraft is gathering reputation. At least with the current reputation factions, having a good standing is worthwhile, as there are often useful rewards or cosmetic items to buy. However, over the course of 8 expansions, more and more factions have been added, and the window with the different parties has grown larger.
Who is crazy enough to want to reach the highest level “Exalted” with all factions? One player has done it.
What happened? In the World of Warcraft subreddit, the player Verysmallman123 shared a small screenshot showcasing the status of his character “Verysmallman”. He accomplished the incredible feat of reaching Exalted status with a whopping 160 reputation factions.
This makes him the first player in the world to achieve this feat with so many factions.
What was particularly difficult? In the comments, Verysmallman talks a bit about the challenges he faced in gathering reputation.
- The hardest faction for him was the Molten Core and the associated friendships, as these are directly tied to time-gating. That was also the last faction he was able to achieve that with.
- It was also challenging to balance the Bloodsail Buccaneers and the Goblins – especially after he had to redo the quest lines with Cataclysm to catch up on the “Master of the Lessons” achievement.
- The easiest faction was the Jinyu from Mists of Pandaria – simply because you can easily raise their reputation to Exalted without having to put in much effort.
How can you see your own achievement? You can see how many reputation factions you have already reached Exalted with in World of Warcraft to a certain extent in your achievements – under the “Reputation” tab. Up to 100 factions, this is still noted by the game and then rewarded with a mount.
